What this size is for
The newest slot in the Play Console and the strictest on count: not "at least two", but between four and eight, with a fixed 8:5 aspect ratio.
It is also the only Play asset with an explicit per-file size limit of 8 MB, which a 4K PNG can reach — export JPEG if you are close.
8:5 is 1.6:1, the same shape as a 1600 × 2560 tablet screenshot turned on its side, and nothing like the 16:9 the rest of Android uses.
Will this file work on the App Store?
No. Apple does not accept arbitrary dimensions: every App Store slot has an exact list of accepted sizes, and 3840 × 2400 px is not on any of them. If you are shipping to both stores, build the design once and export each store's canvas separately.
Design at 3840 × 2400 without doing the maths
Open the editor with the canvas already set to 3840 × 2400, drop your app screens into a device frame, and export the whole set — watermark-free on the free plan.
