What this size is for
The landscape counterpart to 1080 × 1920, and the size Google names for Chromebook and large-screen listings, where it asks for a minimum of four screenshots to demonstrate the in-app experience.
For large screens Google gives a wider range than the general rule — upload between 1080 and 7680 px — while its hard requirements section still caps any screenshot at 3840 px per side. Staying at or below 3840 keeps you inside both.
A 16:9 frame is half as tall as a phone frame, so a caption that filled the top third of a portrait screenshot has to be re-set beside the UI rather than above it.
Will this file work on the App Store?
No. Apple does not accept arbitrary dimensions: every App Store slot has an exact list of accepted sizes, and 1920 × 1080 px is not on any of them. If you are shipping to both stores, build the design once and export each store's canvas separately.
