App promo video maker, built from your screenshots

Your app screens become the scenes of a promo video — a set you designed here, or screenshots straight from your phone. Pick a template and a style, design any scene in the full editor, and export an MP4 rendered in your browser. No video editor needed.

The problem

Every launch needs a video. Few ship one.

A short video is what social feeds, YouTube and the App Store preview slot all run on — and it is the launch asset most makers skip, because it has meant learning a video editor.

Video editors are a detour

Timelines, keyframes and render settings are a second craft to learn the week you are trying to ship.

Every feed wants a new shape

Reels and Shorts are 9:16, YouTube is 16:9, feed posts are square and App Store previews have their own exact sizes.

Your screens are already done

The designed screenshots are the storyboard — rebuilding them in another tool is where the afternoon goes.

Storyboard

Your screenshots are already the storyboard

Pick a screenshot set and every frame becomes a scene, in order, with the same device frames, fonts and backgrounds as your store listing. A template adds a title card and an end card; a style sets the transitions, camera motion and how each headline and phone animates in.

  • ✓Drag scenes to reorder and drag an edge to change how long each one runs
  • ✓29 transitions, 27 entrance animations and 17 camera motions, previewed as moving tiles — or 10 styles that set them all at once
  • ✓A rendered 3D phone with eight camera moves, in any body colour, showing your own app screens
  • ✓Make it for me: AI reads your screenshots and app brief, picks the template and writes the title and end cards

One video, every shape a feed asks for

Choose where it will be posted and the canvas is set for you. Scenes keep their own layout and are fitted into the frame over a full-bleed copy of their background, so a portrait screenshot still looks deliberate in a landscape video.

  • ✓Vertical 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts; square for feed posts
  • ✓Landscape 16:9 for YouTube — and the Play Store preview video, which is a YouTube link

Exports are MP4 (H.264 video, AAC audio). Free exports at 720p with a small watermark; Pro and Pro Plus export the full size with no watermark.
App Review Guideline 2.3.4 allows only screen captures of the app itself in an App Store preview, so the preview formats are built from your screen recordings with text captions rather than device-frame marketing shots. The social formats have no such rule — use both. Every size, length and codec rule is in the App Store app preview video specs guide.
How it works

From screenshots to MP4 in three picks

  1. 01

    Pick a format

Where it will be posted: vertical, square, landscape or an App Store preview.

  2. 02

    Pick your screens

A set designed with the App Store screenshot generator, screenshots from your phone — or start from scratch.

  3. 03

    Pick a template

Title card, scenes and end card, with a style — or let AI write the copy for you. Design any scene further in the full editor.

  4. 04

    Export the MP4

Rendered frame by frame in your browser, with a progress bar and a cancel button.

Frequently asked questions

What is an app promo video maker?

A tool that turns what you already have for your app — screenshots, screen recordings, a name and a tagline — into a short video for social posts, YouTube, your landing page or the App Store preview slot. Here every screenshot in a set becomes a scene, and a template adds a title card and an end card around them.

Is the promo video maker free?

Yes. The free plan makes one video per project and exports it as a 720p MP4 with a small “Made with Edok Studio” mark. You can try your own music and screen recordings on any plan; exporting a video that uses them needs Pro. Pro removes the mark, exports 1080p and allows three videos per project. Pro Plus allows ten videos per project and exports 1080p at up to 60 fps.

Can it make an App Store app preview?

Yes. The App Store preview formats export at 886×1920 for iPhone and 1200×1600 for iPad, at 30 fps with H.264 video and stereo AAC audio, and a checklist warns you before export if the video is outside Apple’s 15–30 second window. Apple only allows screen captures of the app itself in previews (App Review Guideline 2.3.4), so these formats are built from your screen recordings with text captions — exporting them needs Pro or Pro Plus.

Where is the video rendered?

In your browser, frame by frame, so nothing waits in a server queue and a slow laptop never drops frames — it just takes a little longer. It needs a current desktop browser such as Chrome, Edge or Safari. Your music and screen recordings are stored with the project so you can reopen and re-export the video later.

Can I add music?

Yes — upload your own MP3 or M4A track, choose where it starts, set the volume and fade it out at the end. You can add and preview it on any plan; exporting with music needs Pro or Pro Plus. There is no bundled music library, so use a track you have the rights to.

Do I need designed screenshots first?

No. Start from a screenshot set you designed here, or start from scratch: each scene opens in the same full editor as the screenshots, where you place phones, 3D devices, text, shapes, images and backgrounds anywhere, and add your app screens straight from your phone.

If I edit a screenshot, does the video change?

Not on its own. Each scene is a copy of the screenshot taken when you added it, so a finished video never changes behind your back. When you do want the new version, “Refresh from screenshot” re-copies that scene and keeps its timing.
