What this size is for
The simplest class in the specification: one platform, one size, 3840 × 2160. There is no fallback and no scaling.
A visionOS screenshot is a capture of a window floating in a space rather than a device screen, so the usual device-frame vocabulary does not apply — the background is the environment.
The same 4K dimension is also the larger of the two accepted Apple TV sizes, which makes it a convenient shared master if you ship both.
Will this file work on Google Play?
At 1.78 : 1 this canvas is inside Google Play's hard rule that no side may be more than twice the other, and inside its 320–3840 px bounds — so it uploads. Play still names 1080 × 1920 as the portrait size that makes a listing eligible for the placements where it recommends apps using screenshots, so treat this as a fallback rather than a plan.
Design at 3840 × 2160 without doing the maths
Open the editor with the canvas already set to 3840 × 2160, drop your app screens into a device frame, and export the whole set — watermark-free on the free plan.
