What this size is for
The dimension most people mean by "iPad 11-inch" — it has been in the specification since the first Face ID iPad Pro and matches a large share of iPads in use.
It is the most useful of the four 11-inch sizes for a general audience, which is why it is the one our editor ships as a preset.

Play still names 1080 × 1920 as the portrait size that makes a listing eligible for the placements where it recommends apps using screenshots, so treat this as a fallback rather than a plan.
