What this size is for
The class that covers the iPads schools and businesses bought by the pallet — the 7th to 9th generation base model — which is why it outlives its hardware in real install numbers.
It is the one iPad class scaled from 12.9-inch rather than 13-inch, a leftover from when 12.9-inch was the top of the range.
